About the project
As cute as it sounds, this Filipino word describes an irresistible urge to squeeze something adorable.
What inspired you to create what you did?
I like bunnies and birds and making stuff. I was pretty stoked to have something printed with fluorescent and silver INK! It felt good to be part of a creative community.
We collaborated with Kurt to bring “gigil” to life with a squeeze of neon orange and irridescent metallic inks. Soft Touch Coating on Sappi McCoy Silk White adds an extra bit of “squish” to the artwork.
Freelance designers and FUEL creative team members Diane Fitzgerald Harris @dfhdesign and Michele Randall @michele.randall created unique typography inspired by each of the words in our FUEL 18: LINGO calendar. The typography for April’s word “gigil” can’t seem to resist trying to squeeze the most adorable element on the page.
