With close to 140 employees, we can’t tell you about everyone. But we wish we could because every person on our team is interesting in his or her own way from renowned local blues musicians and avid boaters to new parents and soccer coaches.
However, there is a common thread running through our team, regardless of title or function. It’s a passion for going the extra mile. At Cohber, we rely on a team of professionals to get the job done. To do that, we hire only those who have the internal drive and motivation to make things happen. Some call it pride. Some call it moxie. Text books call it a “type A” personality. Here, we simply call it Mojo—the desire to work magic for you. |
Eric C. Webber
President and CEO
Eric is the third generation Webber to join the company. Upon receiving a degree in Finance from Indiana University, Eric began his career at Cohber in much the same way that any other employee would - departmental work. After several years spent learning every aspect of the business and with his father as a mentor, Eric was appointed President and CEO of Cohber. In addition to serving as President, he served on the board of directors for the Master Printers of America and is a member of the Economics and Research Committee for Printing Industries of America (PIA). As President and CEO, Eric understands that the way Cohber does business today does not necessarily dictate the way the company will do business tomorrow. We must adapt to change whether it is in our own industry or in the industries that we serve. Adapting to change and building a company with individuals who embrace and enjoy change is key to our success. As a privately held company, Cohber is dedicated to maintaining its financial soundness. This soundness will ensure that the company has the future flexibility to stay on the forefront of technology.

Howard C. “Buzz” Webber
Chairman
Buzz is a second generation printer. His father,
Howard Webber, Sr. and Samuel Cohen, his
father's partner, founded Cohber in 1931. Buzz
received his undergraduate degree from the
University of Michigan where he later returned
to complete his MBA. In 1961 he purchased Mr. Cohen's
share of the business and embarked upon a career in the graphic arts
industry. Over the past 45 years, Buzz has established himself as a
leader within the graphic arts industry. From 1988 to 1989, he
served as Chairman of the Board of Printing Industries of America
(PIA), the highest elective office in the world's largest graphic arts
trade association. In this capacity, Buzz spoke for the industry
throughout the United States, Canada and at international conferences.
Buzz was elected to that position following many years of dedicated
service to the industry including service as President of PIA of
Rochester, Chairman of the Board of PIA of New York State and
other leadership positions in both national and local associations. While serving as Co-Chairman of the Digital Print Council for PIA, Buzz worked
closely with suppliers of digital print hardware and software to develop
digital solutions that will reshape the future of printing. He clearly
understands that the future of printing lies in digital technology. In 1981, Buzz received the Printing Man of the Year Award in Rochester, NY. In 1996, Buzz received the Lewis Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding service to the graphic arts industry. In 2001, Buzz received the Sheet-Fed Printer of the Year Award by the Printing Industries of America (PIA). Buzz's
vision for Cohber is one of growth and profitability as a direct result of
being a proponent and early adopter of new digital technologies.
