(Rochester, NY) Cohber is proud to announce its new 3D Touch Intelligent Coating Solution to more effectively deliver your messages in a personalized way.

The raised printing effect from this new technology enables the ability to incorporate textures for both visual and tactile enhancements to printed pieces. 3D Touch Clear Ink gives specified text and images a raised or dimensional effect that can help communications stand out in a crowded marketplace.

3D Touch Clear Ink enables:

• Textures – add a texture to an entire page:  create a canvas look and feel for a painting effect, create a virtual linen feeling paper, and create a frosted effect . . . the possibilities are endless
• Realistic Surfaces – add dimensional ink to an image or area within a page - make an orange feel like an orange, wood grain feel like wood grain, a lizard feel like a lizard,  . . . again, endless possibilities only limited by your creativity.
• Raised Borders – photos can have raised borders that mimic frames, holiday borders, or special effect borders that give a visual 3-dimensional look and feel, . . .
• Linked Marketing Messages – “Catch new opportunities,” “Cut a path to higher profits,” “Profitable, environmentally responsible new business growth,” “The key to profitable new business,” . . . see attached sample postcards.
• Invitations – Raise parts of an invitation to variable heights to produce realistic feeling flowers, balloons, and leaves . . . expensive looking raised invitations are now available with inline technology, eliminate additional costs and time from similar off line options.
• Certificates – You decide what print gets raised and what print doesn’t, borders are no longer flat and boring and now have the feel of frames and raised effects.

"The overall tactile effect is similar to thermography, but with a greater degree of control — 3D Touch Clear Ink can be set to produce variable heights, so you can more closely mimic the texture of a specific image," stated Paul Galligan, Vice -President and Managing Director of the Digital Marketing Solutions Group (DMSG). "And unlike thermography, which can only be applied to ink, 3D Touch Clear Ink does not require ink or an image to adhere to the substrate."

3D Touch Clear Ink creates prints that are recyclable. It does not require any special de-inking and uses no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) so you can produce prints that drive more profit per page and is still safe for our environment.
